"This is not a book to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force." - Dorothy Parker

Presently, to keep the juices going, I participate in both the poetry and novel workshop taught by Frank Gaspar at LBCC. My name is on neat little plaque in the English workshop room as a symbol of the Drury Fiction Award in 1998. I published a short story in Music from a Farther Room. I won the Humorous Poetry Award from Writer’s Workshop West in the same year. My novel, All Families Have Secrets, is in its third rewrite. In earlier lives I wrote a weekly newspaper column, and in the outside world, various policy and procedures manuals.
