Fall 2023, Volume 35

From the Editor

Dear Readers,

Thanks for stopping by!  This issue is a decent rendering of what goes on in the mind of a writer, while the writer tries to look deep into the current chaos and make some sort of sense of it.  The outcome is admirable—the pieces reveal the unique value and beauty of the everyday:  bumming a cigarette, losing your keys, rain, a farmer in their field, a hockey skate, laundry.  Always something remarkable can be discovered about the simple and the ordinary if you spend time with them and pay attention.

And included here is something for you to make and enjoy, like I have done today.
