Art by Francisco Uribe

BIO:  Francisco Uribe is a student at Long Beach. During his stay at Long Beach City College, Francisco has been able to explore his artistic abilities, or to some, his artistic in-ability. However, thanks to the great instructors at LBCC, Francisco has discovered the value of art and intellect. Francisco's artwork is heavily influenced by the French surrealists, the German expressionists, and by the Dada movement; he himself describes his art as, "the simplicity of the abstraction of life's desires"; and he describes himself as, "a conventional and out-of-date artist who is stuck and shaped by the modern world that suffocates."
