Screenplay by Chad Bolling

Terrorists 5000

NARRATOR: In the 51st century Earth is a highly controlled society. The society is simply named Control. There is no sex. No love. No feelings. You are controlled with pills. You work, eat, sleep everyday not knowing love or happiness. You are gray, like the gray walls of the prison you call your own home. Some rebel against the system. This is their story.

Danny’s Story:

1 INT. LARGE SPACE STATION #1/CORRIDOR

DANNY, a terrorist in the 51 century, runs down a corridor. He wears a lightweight backpack. The corridor is lined with windows having a view of outer-space and the distant stars. Danny ducks behind a doorway and sits down.

DANNY (panting):Those Fascists. Those Pigs.

Danny removes two large round batteries from his backpack. He pushes the top of the batteries in and drops them on the ground.

2 EXT. LARGE SPACE STATION #1

The space station explodes in a brilliant blast. SPACE SHUTTLE #1 shoots out of the blast just in the nick of time. The ship is a shuttle used to transport people from Earth to outer space.

DANNY (V.O.): May god have mercy on their souls.

3 INT. SPACE SHUTTLE #1

The shuttle has passenger seats in back and a cockpit connected to the passenger bay. Danny flies the shuttle into Earth atmosphere.

DANNY: They can’t catch me once I land on Earth.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER (Soft, soothing voice): You would be better off going to Mars, sir.

DANNY : Alright, Mars then.

4 EXT. SPACE SHUTTLE #1

The Space Shuttle slowly turns away from Earth and faces outer space. The propulsion rockets fire and the shuttle moves away from Earth.

5 INT. SPACE SHUTTLE #1

Danny relaxes in the cockpit of the ship and leans back in his chair. Then sits up and thinks a moment.

DANNY: We can’t go to Mars. This thing doesn’t have the power to get to Mars.

6 EXT. SPACE SHUTTLE #1

The Space Shuttle turns slowly towards Earth again and reenters Earth’s atmosphere, turning red hot as it falls faster and faster.

7 INT. SPACE SHUTTLE #1

Danny’s face is smashed from the high g forces.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: Nine Gs.

DANNY (struggling to speak): Computer.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: Yes, Danny.

DANNY (struggling to speak): Could you slow us down a bit?

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: Such a senses of humor, you have, sir. We can’t slow down yet or our ship will break apart.

DANNY (struggling to speak): Oh, I knew that.

8 EXT. SPACE SHUTTLE #1

The shuttle enters the normal fly zone for Earth, straightens out and flies normally like an airplane.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: The ship is now stabilized.

9 INT. SPACE SHUTTLE #1

DANNY: I will never get used to that.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: What is the plan now, Danny?

DANNY: I need a drink. Let’s hit the bar.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: Will Danny be pursuing female companionship this evening?

DANNY: I’m thinking of it.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: Did you find those two female astronauts to your liking last time?

DANNY: Yes, until the police caught us.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: That is always a problem sir.

DANNY: Well, it’s worth a try again.

SHUTTLE COMPUTER: Yes sir, it is. I will arrange a meeting.

DANNY: Thank you, computer.

10 EXT. SPACE SHUTTLE #1

Space Shuttle #1 flies low over the Pacific Ocean. It skims on top of the ocean surface, weaving back and forth.

Katie’s Story:

11 EXT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS

The world police headquarters is a large base of operations for the police. We see the flying police cars zipping around in the night sky.

12 INT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS/HALLWAY

The white hallway is dark and lined with doors that have huge locking mechanisms on the door handles. KATIE tip-toes down the hallway, past the doors. She wears a light weight headset. She is what is called a ’cracker,’ someone who uses phones, lock picking and other technology to break into a secure facility and take a trophy to satisfy her curiosity.

13 EXT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS

Police cars fly around in the night sky

14 INT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS/HALLWAY

Katie tip-toes down the hallway.

KATIE (whispering): I see the door.

COMPUTER HEADSET (speaks to her): Now pick the lock and enter.

Katie tip-toes to a doorway and puts her ear up against it.

KATIE (whispering): I don’t hear anything.

COMPUTER HEADSET: Just pick the lock.

Katie puts her ear up to the door lock.

COMPUTER HEADSET: Use your tool.

Katie takes a hair pin out of her hair and sticks it into the lock.

KATIE (whispering): Old tricks are the best ones.

Katie picks the lock. CLICK! She takes out a device. She places it over the lock. BEEP! The door opens with the sound of air escaping. SHHH! Katie pushes open the door and goes inside.

15 EXT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS

Police hover cars fly around outside.

16 INT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS/BREAK ROOM

Inside the doorway there is a stainless steel coffee break room complete with donuts and coffee maker.

KATIE (whispering): Ew, donuts.

COMPUTER HEADSET: Better leave now.

17 INT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS/HALLWAY

KATIE SNEAKS DOWN THE HALLWAY PAST A LABORATORY.

COMPUTER HEADSET: Strange, what is a laboratory doing in a police station?

KATIE (whispering): I don’t know. I think I hear someone coming.

SUDDENLY, A GROUP OF POLICE MARCH BY. She ducks into a doorway of the break room and closes the door. After they march by, another cop opens the door and sees her in the doorway. He spills his coffee on himself.

COP #2: Ouch!

18 INT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS/BREAK ROOM

Katie jumps Cop #2 in the break room. Then closes the door. She takes a tissue sample from the officer’s arm.

19 EXT. WORLD POLICE HEADQUARTERS

Police Cars fly around outside. Katie is piloting one of them.

20 INT. POLICE CAR

She has on the hat of the cop she knocked out to blend in better.

KATIE (steering): I’m glad to get out of there.

COMPUTER HEADSET: It was risky, but with the data we got, we will know all about their bio-genetics.

KATIE (pushing a button): I don’t know.

POLICE CAR COMPUTER: Auto-pilot engaged.

KATIE: I just hope we find something in that tissue sample.

21 INT. LABORATORY

Katie peers into a microscope. A piece of the tissue sample is under the glass.

KATIE: They are not human.

COMPUTER HEADSET: What aren’t human? You must be in error.

KATIE: No error. They are bi-roids, biologically engineered beings.

COMPUTER HEADSET: Surely there must be evidence to dispute your findings.

KATIE: None. Without a doubt they are manufactured. The cops are fake. They are all fake! FAKE! No wonder humans are so controlled.

COMPUTER HEADSET: That would make perfect sense, for man to be the arbitrator of his own imprisonment.
